Terms of Service

These Terms of Service are between us, San Fernando Royal LLC (DBA "Royal Rehearsal" or "The Rattle Room"), and you, the solo or multi-member music entity ("Artist") who books an hourly, daily, or weekly rental ("Short Term Rental") in our Showcase Live Rehearsal Room ("Showcase Room") or the Rattle Room at Royal Rehearsal Recording Studio ("Recording Studio") through our website. For both the Showcase Room and Recording Studio, the booked Short Term Rental period is hereafter referred to as "Session".

By booking a Session, Artist hereby agrees to the following Terms of Service:

1) Reservations must be made through the online booking system on our website at least 24 hours in advance of the Session. All payments are managed through PayPal. We currently do not accept in-person or "point of sale" payments (cash, check, or credit card).

2) Cancellations for full refund or reschedules must occur with at least 24 hours advance notice. There is no refund for "no-shows" or cancellations/reschedules that occur with less than 24 hours notice. Refunds will be submitted through PayPal to the original payment method used to book the session. Artists who arrive more than 15 minutes after session start time will be deemed a "no-show" and the Session will be canceled without refund.

3) All activities inside the building, common areas, Showcase Room, and Recording Studio (the "Space") are continuously monitored 24/7 and are recorded by HD security camera to hard-drive and cloud storage. There is to be no smoking, drinking and/or drugs, rowdy/aggressive behavior, graffiti, or damage or theft to the Space or equipment. All guests are Artist's responsibility and Artist must ensure they abide by these Terms. Artist agrees to remove and dispose of all trash and debris at end of the Session, and return the Space to the condition it was initially delivered to Artist. Artist agrees to abide by these rules and treat the Space, the equipment, and other customers with care and respect. Any actions to the contrary to be deemed a breach of this agreement, and will result in a cancellation of the Session without refund.

4) Royal Rehearsal will inspect the Space prior to and after the Session. Any damages or theft to the common areas, Showcase Room, Recording Studio, building fixtures, or any of the equipment that arise during the Session as a result of Artist's negligence or misuse will be billed to Artist's original payment method.

5) At the expiration of the Session, Artist agrees to promptly remove its equipment and vacate the Space. Any delays in vacating the Space will result in additional charges being added to Artist's original payment method, billed in 15 minute increments at the maximum base hourly rate listed on our website.

6) Royal Rehearsal provides certain equipment (the full list of which can be found on the "Hourly" and "Recording Studio" subsections of our website). We do not provide any other equipment or instrument rentals at this time. Thus, it is suggested that Artist brings the following items:

B. Recording Studio Sessions:

7) The Showcase Room is designed for up to a standard, 7-piece band (1 drummer, 1 bassist, 2 guitarists, and up to 3 vocalists or other instrumentalists). The Recording Studio is designed for standard multi-tracking Sessions for Artists and bands and can accommodate producing, recording, mixing, mastering, songwriting, voice-over, and sound-design work. Royal Rehearsal makes no warranties or representations as to the condition of the Showcase Room or Recording Studio, the equipment, or their suitability for Artist's use, except for that Royal Rehearsal's staff will ensure the equipment is in reasonable, good working order at the start of the Session. Any technical difficulties or defective equipment that arise during the Session that are not a result of Artist's negligence or misuse will be attempted to be fixed as promptly as possible by Royal Rehearsal's staff. If an immediate fix is not available or some other issue impairs Artist's ability to continue with the Session, Royal Rehearsal agrees to refund Artist the cost of the Session, provided that the issue is not a result of Artist's negligence or misuse. Artist bears all risks associated with handling live and/or recording music equipment. Royal Rehearsal will not be liable for any injuries or damages caused by Artist's negligent or improper use of the equipment or the Space.

8) We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time for any reason.
